Well, that was "fast"! Rising star...I trust CR and the judgment of his staff.
Appears very athletic...CR may be trying to increase the athleticism of his guards, even if it means sacrificing a little bit on the skill side which can be enhanced with the great coaching of he and his staff.

I don't know if it's an anomaly or a trend, but recent recruits from Kansas, Texas, Arkansas and Georgia, seems like the Beavs have gotten a good foothold in that region of the country.

"Hopefully we head back to our PNW roots to close off 2020."
Precisely. Exactly. For sure. No doubt. Gotta do it. GO BEAVS

Very good news. And again, thanks to the WBB recruiting gurus for all the recent info on Samuel.

Many of you follow this much more closely than I do, so perhaps you can enlighten me. I've never heard of ASGR. What does anyone know about them? Also, is there a reasonable explanation why neither ESPN, in their top 100, nor Prospect Nation in their listing of 250 recruits, have her down at all. The Prospect Nation thing really puzzles me.
Pretty much agree with everything written above.

ASGR is a pay service, much like CGBR (which is the service ESPN publishes), and they typically only posted their rankings via class rankings, but this year they did a chart, releasing their top-150. I've heard it is pretty credible. It never got utilized like espnW or Prospects Nation did because it wasn't as accessible and you couldn't find the rankings until after said prospect committed, but it is definitely a legit national service.

We may want to consider a part time recruiter position for Danika Brown. She's all in!! Go BEAVS.

Looks like you have to be a Division 1 coach to subscribe to their recruiting app. Just $1495. For that price, and with just a relative handful of people who are permitted to subscribe, it better be pretty credible!

One reason she may be a bit under the radar is that she only played 7 games last year. I don’t know if that was due to an injury or the fact that she transferred from another HS to St.Francis. She only averaged around 13ppg in those seven games, whereas the year before averaged a bit better than 20ppg.

Well, it will be interesting to see what happens now with ESPN and Prospects Nation. If somebody they overlooked commits Southeastern Middle Tennessee State, good chance they continue to be overlooked. Commit to Oregon State, perhaps they they wonder how they missed this one, and, lo and behold, she's included the next time they update their rankings. We shall see.

Savannah has transferred a lot in HS -- she was at Collins Hill as a freshman, River Ridge as a sophomore, and St. Francis as a junior. I have no idea any reasoning behind any of the transfers, but it appears that she may have had to sit out following her transfer since she played the last six games. Oddly enough when you look at the box scores, it says she played six games, but when you look at the profile, it shows six games. Using those six games and dividing the totals by six (instead of seven since it only shows for six games), she averaged 16 PPG and 4 RPG. Another thing to consider is that at Saint Francis, she plays with a lot of other high level, P5 talents.

I really find this commitment fascinating. If you have followed her at all over the last few months it was obvious Oregon State was in the drivers seat. I wasn't sure how serious the Beavs were though. All indications are she is an Oregon State type of player. Video will show her catch and shoot ability, and we already know she can jump. From the little I've gathered, she also is a hard worker.
ASGR does a good job. Lot's of colleges pay good money to subscribe to their service. Most of you have seen their class rankings on this board before, as I've seen them posted many times. They do sometimes miss a player or two on their class rankings, and usually that is an international player.
Savannah played on a great AAU team this summer (FBC hunt/United). They were considered by many to be the best team this summer. Savannah came off the bench (except when others were injured), so she didn't get the exposure most other girls received. In the end, that was probably a good thing for the Beavs.
