And last night Ric Okasek at 75. I had Eddie Money going on my playlist. Today, I guess it’ll be The Cars. Two very talented singer/songwriters gone. Sucks. And... gave all of us 'average' looking dudes hope. Those guys, not the handsomest, always were attached to BEAUTIFUL women!!! Ahhh the rock star life! But, we all are where we belong I guess, as I would have never survived to 75! RIP |

There are songs out there that are so well featured in movies that you cannot think of the movie without thinking of the song and vice versa. Some examples might be "I'm alright"/Caddyshack, "Danger Zone"/Top Gun, and "Louie Louie"/Animal House. But the greatest example of this for me is "Moving in Stereo"/Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I cannot hear that song without thinking of the movie. Perhaps its the visual effects of the scene, I don't know, but the two are forever intertwined in my mind. |
