A good hire, so it would appear. They play again at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at Lorenz Field.

Make that 3-0-0 for the season, surpassing last year's win total. A 3-0 win over St. Mary's.
Next up, New Mexico on 9/5

Next up, New Mexico on 9/5 It's not just that...the announcers in today's game said that OSU scored seven (7) goals all of last year...I looked up last year's schedule and only come up with six (6) goals and a 2-17 record. With the 3-0 victory over St. Mary's today, OSU also passed last year's goal production (eight (8) this year). Serious turnaround. Good stuff.

Won despite getting out shot 13-9, 5-3 on goal. First time this season the opposition had a larger attack, but the Beavers held strong. While the offense and goal scoring has been the head line this season thus far, the defense is has been something to watch. In 460 minutes of play, the Beavers have only conceded 1 goal, a +13 goal differential so far. What a balance.

Beavers win again, 3-0 over UC-Davis to go 5-0-0. 22 shots with 14 on goal, while holding the Aggies to 12 shots with 3 on goal.
The team will hit to road to Texas for matches at Houston (9/12) and Rice (9/15).

Beavers crush Houston 5-0. Now 6-0-0, at Rice this weekend.
First two goals of the season for Brianna McReynolds. She is a future star.

Big test next at Rice who was picked to finish third in Conference USA.

Rice tied it up in the 88'. So what? Brianna McReynolds scores the game winner at the 99' of the first OT for the Beavers to take three points on the road, winning 2-1.
This was a close match, shots and shots on goal pretty even. Rice almost won it if it wasn't for the crossbar earlier in the OT.
One more non-conference match against Idaho on Thursday (9/19) before the gauntlet that is the Pac-12 begins.

Nice. I checked the stats/roster. 15 of the team's 19 goals have been scored by Sophomores (8), and Freshmen (7).
Starting GK is also a Sophomore.
Sounds like a team that has a good chance to improve over the course of this season and the next couple of years.
