From the outset it was obvious they were badly outmatched. It was like watching a #6 Div 1 team play a good high school team. And the hometown crowed couldn't have helped much. I'm guessing 4-5000 there, virtually all Beavers. We did get some previews of next years team with the lower classmen playing. I cannot wait for Sunday!

I thought it a very good sign that the girls didn't back off. They showed a bit of killer instinct that has been missing in the past. If they stay focused and play with this attitude and they will go far.

Hey. I don't. Does Middle Tennessee State feel sorry for beating Sparty? Derailing all hopes of a deep run by MSU? Heck no
Does Troy feel bad that Jamie only got 2 points? Or that Ruth is tired from Engineering all day and practice all week, with Finals mixed in.
Part of the deal.

Connecticut 60- Robert Morris 9, two minutes left in the first half. Feel bad all you want. Geno was sending a message.

I'm sure it happens more in women's hoops than men's, but not very often does a team score enough in the first half (64) to win the game (64-49) if they had scored ZERO in 2nd half!! Yikes...
