Great year for the guys and they have MUCH to be proud of. Just too bad we lost such a huge game in a way that shouldn't have really happened w/ their lack of size.

To a team with a 6'7" post. that can happen when you miss way more shots than the opponent.

46 points in the paint for VCU. You aren't going to win very many games allowing that to happen. This team was weak all year in the rebounding department. It cost the Beavers a number of games this year. Need some major improvement in that area. Also, a lot of the free throw discrepancy over the year in games has to do with driving to the hoop. Basically being the more aggressive team. VCU continued the trend today. Tres would have helped in the aggressiveness to the hoop

Well... it wasn't our best game, but was far from our poorest especially considering the 'stage'. We played basically as we have all year... inconsistent with no real physical presence. As posted a while back... AMAZING that this talent went 19-13 and made the tourney. This team will be remembered not only as the one that broke the string, but the one that began the upswing of talent. These guys helped sell the 2016 recruits on this program. They need to be remembered fondly... ALL of them.

Another disappointing ending, what's new, nothing? WE should all be used to it now and expect it every year. We get our hopes up that we will get over the hump, win just ONE friggin game actually and then a dagger puts reality back in our faces. When will we learn??

When will we learn?? 50% of the teams lose in the first round - it's not like we're in uncharted territory. Being a sports fan by nature is an eventual heartbreak for all but 1 team every year. There are better avenues for emotional relationships.
