"I" was 0-7 shooting in the fourth quarter. Good defense by Baylor or a choke job? Combo of both? I thought she forced it too much and took some tough shots. Not a choke in my book. She would have done better to draw the d and kick to an open teammate. Good game. They are a good team, but I’m glad they lost;) I agree with another post I read, the next Pac-12 National Champ needs to be the Beavs!

Forcing it too much would be/is a good 4th choice for what happened to Sabrina in the 4th quarter. Forcing it too much might also be defined as trying too hard or trying to do too much.

I think your out of “synch”. She got her team to the final 4. Maybe we need more players who are in “synch” Like Carson Shaddy got his team to the final 2, right? SI is 10 times the player Shaddy is....so, no.

The bigger issue was Ruthy. She had 4 points and was man handled by the Baylor bigs, as was Anigwe.

The question was about the fourth quarter of the final four game, nothing about any other quarters or games. She was trying to do to much and it threw her team out of synch. GO Baylor, beat the leprechauns. I think your out of “synch”. She got her team to the final 4. Maybe we need more players who are in “synch” Now you’re just being cranky. Again. That was a perfectly acceptable comment for the question posed.

It was strangely fulfilling to watch the 'ucks lose. I must be a Beaver. I wonder if there is a business in there somewhere - a pay channel devoted to replaying games in which the 'ucks lose? Hmmm - get a lot of subscribers in the Pac NW :-).
Anyway - I hope Baylor of today looks a lot like OSU of tomorrow - their big to big passing with quick guards is a formula we can emulate - and improve on: we have some dead-eye three ballers, didn't see many on the Baylor team. I started to wonder if SR was implementing the playbook this year that will really bloom next year: I think Jelena, Trish and Taylor will provide the size and hands at the hoop, and Taya, Kennedy and AA at the FT line, a'la Cox and Brown.
I look forward to having a team to root for in the Final Four next year - that will be a great day! As opposed to having a team to root against this year.......but still today was a good day - Beavers win at Goss, and the 'ucks lose...
Go Beavers!

I’m still hungry for another Final Four here. The team we played in 2016 was nearly unbeatable, arguably the best team to take the floor in the history of WCBB. Another chance, please.

The clock is ticking for Sabrina. She now has less than 45 hours to decide if she will go pro and forgo her senior year or return for her senior year with the Ducks. I hope she goes pro...just saying! Many project her as the No. 1 pick in the next WNBA draft.

I do too. In film I have seen, Jelena and Kennedy’s passing abilities really stood out. That is an extremely important, yet somewhat underrated, skill for a big - especially a dominant one who routinely demands double teams. Really, really excited for the future of this team down low. I think we still need to add a few offensive pieces in the frontcourt (Verhulst, Goforth, Clark, Van Lith), but the backcourt looks pretty loaded.

The bigger issue was Ruthy. She had 4 points and was man handled by the Baylor bigs, as was Anigwe. Sabally got herself into foul trouble early and want wasn't to play as much as usual. She was the one who could deal with Cox, Gildon did her best but she is not close to the player Sabally is.

There are scandals involving nike to get players to sign with certain schools There are scandals to get kids 'into schools' Is it possible there will be a Nike scandal to keep a kid is school? If there’s a scandal to keep a player at a school in a sport that loses money, the apocalypse is on us.

The other night the announcers were talking about i's shoe deal and when it will start. It was tongue in cheek but still..... The only reason she would stay in school would be to get a national championship. That's not a sure thing with potential injuries. If she is going to be #1 pick I don't there will be an increase to offset missing one year of earnings. They will also lose Cazorla, the yin to i's yang. She is the quiet stabilizing factor. I'm not sure if they have the replacement for her.

I found it interesting that both Baylor and Miss St seemed completely uninterested in taking a shot more than 15 feet from the basket. Uo was smart to pack in the zone and dare them to shoot, and they wouldn't. Not sure if they can't make those shots or just never had to all season because they had such a good inside game. Strange offense to watch after seeing PAC12 teams that can hit threes all day long. Seems like you'd want some three point shooters as an option off the bench to open things up when they pack in the zone like that. Odd that traditionally strong teams like Baylor and Miss St apparently have no 3-point shooters on their roster.

Mississippi State did have three point shooters, and they shot quite well from behind the arc, 8-14. They do start a three-point specialist, UConn transfer Andra Espinoza-Hunter, but she was face-guarded the entire game and couldn’t get loose - basically a box-and-1.
That is what - I hope - will be so special about our team in the future, is that we will be equally good from the inside as we are the outside. Pick your poison!
