It is a 9 inning game, obviously. It would be nice to extend one of UCLA's quality relievers, but Beaver bats have to determine that point, and that is not happening.

OK, Yeskie, you need to work with Gambrell more on his delivery. The stolen bases suck.

We lost 3 First founders a Fifth and a Tenth...it would be foolish to expect the same offense.

Why does UCLA's fight song sound like it belongs in a Mickey Mouse cartoon?

Why does UCLA's fight song sound like it belongs in a Mickey Mouse cartoon? It actually belongs to Cal, so they say in Berkeley

Bottom of the seventh for the Bruins Strikeout, one away Walk, one on Base hit to left, advanced to second on the throw, two in scoring position
Pitching change, Walling coming in Walk, bases loaded Pitching change, Pfennigs coming in Base hit to left, Something happened and no one has a clue, run scores, two one away, runners on the corners, 5-0 Bruins
Base hit to right, run scores, bases loaded, 6-0 Bruins
Infield hit to third, run scores, bases loaded, 7-0 Bruins Sac fly to left, run scores, two on, two away, 8-0 Bruins Fly out to right
8-0 Bruins after 7
Apologize for the mess, I wish it was on TV. Turns out it was just a base hit to left that scored the 5th run, and everyone moved up 90 feet, no outs were recorded.

good grief - speed kills and they are killing us. Sigh, they are aggressive and we can't shoot straight.

UCLA PbP guy is pretty good. I'd try him and yes i quoted myself. However TigardBeav did not refer to himself in the 3rd person He is better, but he doesn't really know our players. Does JW know our players?

At least Grant ate up some innings....embarassing there by Beavs, single to LF and guy goes to 3rd in front of Casey and then hitter also gets 2nd on the throw. Bad baseball.
Glad to see Bailey not using Eisert, this one is over likely so no need.
