IMHO UCLA has the best talent in the Pac-12, by far. Unbelievable athletes. How they underachieve, who knows, has to be crappy coaching.
They should be able to play man-to-man on every team in the league and absolutely shut them down.
I love our team but I'd love to have one or two of UCLA's players to give us a dynamic athletic dimension we've never had.
BTW, FTD.
PS: I read that Bill Laimbeer of the LV Aces is at these games, scouting SI. Floppers love floppers.

I love Onyenwere’s game. I’m happy to see Kennedy Burke gone next season. She is a talent. Japreece Dean will be sticking around another year - she was granted another year of eligibility.

Horrible call on the T foul. You cannot call that in that situation. Rabbit ears.

Exactly. Bodies laying all over the floor and while I’m no fan of Cori Close, she deserved to be upset. Questionable jump balls vs fouls. UCLA player knocked to the ground in front of the ref with 8 seconds left and no call. UCLA blew chances but refs shouldn’t have such a hand in a close game like this.

Yes, the "jump" call that gave uo possession after the miss was atrocious as well. UCLA should have been shooting FTs, because there certainly was no tieup to force a jump.

Oh please, Sorry but I disagree. I think OUR team has the best talent in the league. There is a reason why we are 2-0 against this talented UCLA team you speak of. Aleah Goodman herself is better than that entire team, she is the next Diana Taurasi like I've said before. And Goodman, PIvec, Slocum just on the floor itself is better than any other team out there. And with that said Anigwe > Onyenwere.
UCLA played their best game of the year today and still came up short. And the questionable calls were on both sides, I honestly thought UCLA even got away with way more than they should have.

I like Onyenwere because of the way they pronounce her name.

You couldn't give her a 100 onion handshake? Did we hit "peak onion" in Oregon? Did UCLA swoop in with a bag of Vidalia? The Onyonwere that got away

The Onyonwere that got away I have found that some people just don't like onions, like several of my daughters. Harumph! It was only a few years ago that I learned the origins of our family name. This really blew my mind: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allium_tricoccum

Just as a note. It's too bad Ref's can't be perfect, and that they call often call foul because they anticipate it's going to happen....and too bad stars get calls in their favor "just because"...but I do like that when it goes in favor of the team I am rooting for.
The closing minutes of regulation in this game had the foul call against UCLA when SI was shooting that probably should have been a no call, the no call of the 3pt basket by Dean (and it should have been a no call, but I only bring it up because there was as much contact on that shot as there was on the SI shot, and then there was the "jump" ball call, which may have been accurate, but normally in those situations I think you would have seen a foul called. Oh well, the Ref's aren't perfect, but UCLA should have had that one.

I know he was looking at Christina Anigwe and maybe Alanna Smith from Stanford. Said that he hears SI may or may not enter draft for WNBA.
