Not sure when Ruthy is returning, but if it isn’t soon, I wouldn’t roll out losses to USC or Arizona State. UCLA will be tough. Go beavs!

If the toejams play the daisys like they played our Beavers tonight, we might see a 3 game skid for #2. I lost the last little shred of respect I had for SI tonight. She's a bully; a whiner and a flopper. The march off the court after she fouled out was a bonus. MB.

Like I said Monday, I'm not sure she ever feels embarrassed. Best strategy against them might just be do anything to get in her head.

Like I said Monday, I'm not sure she ever feels embarrassed. Best strategy against them might just be do anything to get in her head. Worked for Aleah Monday night. She took every opportunity to mess with her. Under 4 seconds left in the first period, Aleah runs up and gives her a hard foul. Then helped her up off the floor. There were several other plays where Aleah made sure to bump into her, just being physical. Aleah's first option was to disrupt that last play, a foul was the second option. She just made sure to put herself in position to make the foul, she didn't actually foul her. Kind of reminded me of Gabby and Kelsey Plum.

Pac-12 folks really off their "game" tonight. The gal calling the Duck vs. UCLA game said early on that the Ducks and Bruins were the only 2 Pac-12 teams to make the elite 8 last year. Really? That's odd because I seem to recall OSU was also in the elite 8. AFTER the UO vs UCLA game (and after ALL tonight's games were over), they showed the updated WBB standings and their records:
Oregon 13-2 Stanford 11-3 Oregon State 11-3 UCLA 10-5 Arizona State 9-5
Problem is, both Stanford and OSU are 12-3. Idiots. The ASU record of 9-5 is correct because their game against WA was canceled. And yes, SI's behavior at the end of the game was atrocious....barked angrily at Gildon when Gildon didn't get the rebound on UCLA's missed free throw and then she stormed off the court with a big scowl on her face when she fouled out but the game was still not over.

It's a real positive when you can win games that you have not played your best ball in. They certainly got it together to pull it out at the end, along with multiple players making key contributions at critical junctures during the game itself.

Got to give it up to USC. They took it to us and had us on the ropes. Just couldn’t come up with a KO.
Great TEAM win.

What a smile by Mik there. That says a lot about how she feels about Coach I think. Mik didn't get any questions asked of her. But she was chit chatting w/CR. And she gives a shout out to Jo who had 9 boards. What a treasure Mik is

And she pushed her as well. Oh but she's competitive. Hmmm... Don't think you would see Notre Dame's star player pushing a teammate.
