Preston Jones leadoff HR, Beavs up 1-0 after 1 Perhaps a rare moment where we thank Jon Warren? Preston Jones was his pregame interviewee.... In any case, the good feelings will last until he tells me that a deep fly ball was caught by the 3rd baseman.

He's not the Mike Parker type, in that Mike sat out in the bleachers practicing calling games into a tape recorder as he tried to break into the profession 30 some odd years ago, and I am not sure if baseball is his favorite sport. He's not a stat nerd and he has to think about things that come naturally to someone that calls a hundred or more games a year like Mike. But he's starting to get into a groove all his own, and I'm enjoying the games over the radio.

Every time I listen to Warren, I am reminded that Minn doesn’t even have radio of all their games. Let alone pre-game and JBS. So I just count my blessings that I am a card carrying member of BeaverNation and can hear every single game this year.

But, as others have said, at least we get to listen to someone call the game. If it gets too bad, I can just turn off the radio feed and watch the live stats feed instead.

Twelve LOB. Not a good sign. I hope that is a bit of sarcasm - can't score 10+ every game.....

I also believe Adley had 5 LOB and Philip had 6. Adley had the bases loaded... Not sure about Beau's at bats...
Anywa, crazy that 11 of the LOB came from 2 hitters that I'm pretty darn sure are not goign to have that many runners LOB as the season continues.
It is early. Stay healthy, get the wins and get into form. Just like Football, it is crazy that these guys don't get some scrimmage games that simply don't count on your record to try some new kids out and find your groove. #NOspringtraining

I remember Oregon State Madrigal-less for eight weeks coming out of Surprise last year. Stay healthy, win, and get ready for Pac-12 play.
