"You still need a permit for the lot where the handicap spot is located." Not true. If you have a placard, you can park in any crip space on campus. The reason for that is because, in wet weather, and depending on the distance, the preference is for crips to drive from class to class. Not so. ADA Parking Options Individuals with a DMV-issued ADA placard have several parking options available on the OSU Corvallis campus. Permits are required Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in all ADA spaces on campus.
ADA parking spaces - Vehicles may park in any ADA accessible space on the Corvallis campus with a DMV-issued ADA parking placard and any valid OSU parking permit. Permits can be purchased online, in our office or at any pay station. transportation.oregonstate.edu/parking/parking-permits/ada-parkingThe shuttle is OK. But most of the stops, including Valley/Reser, do not have covered waiting areas. I said: "If you have a placard, you can park in any crip space on campus. The reason for that is because, in wet weather, and depending on the distance, the preference is for crips to drive from class to class." Then you posted: "Vehicles may park in any ADA accessible space on the Corvallis campus with a DMV-issued ADA parking placard and any valid OSU parking permit. " So, how is that different than what I said? Agree on the shuttle. We tried to get covered bus shelters, but the university didn't have the money. We had also advocated for covered crip parking. Again, the university didn't have the money.

There is a little known gang problem on campus. Yeah, well; we had the name first. They've done quite a bit to integrate with us.

Curious if the status of red shirt due to her injury has been decided? Thanks in advance.

A handicap placard alone isn't enough. You must also have a valid parking permit. That was not clear in your post, or if it was, I missed it. If you don't have an OSU permit, you can't simply use handicap spots without being subject to ticketing.
If she has a C permit and a placard, then I guess she can park in any handicap spot,no matter the designation of that lot. But she won't be driving for a while anyway.
Her application for an extra year because of a medical hardship won't be determined until her eligibility is over.

How is it not relevant? JFC man. I think it's minutiae and, really, none of our business. Let the girl rehab in peace without the kind of attention she gets on the court. As a competitive athlete, coping with being a crip, even short term, will be tough enough without us getting a play-by-play. I really doubt that these facts being brought out on this forum will upset Kat in the least. To begin with it is not a secret. And second it reflects favorably on her family. It's not like this discussion is about some deep dark secret who's exposure will cause embarrassment. As a previous poster mentioned, this program is based on family and the actions of the Tudor's are a positive personification of that. In fact the only negative on this subject was the direction your boorish responses turned it towards. Now you are attempting to get us to buy that your responses were out of a concern for Kats welfare and feelings. If that were truly so, you should have focused the subject of your last post first, rather than after the fact, spin to justify all your previous ones.

It is pretty humorous how a completely innocuous (and relevant) post about Kat's ACL rehab and family support became rant fodder.

Update on Kat from Instagram: "She tore her acl and meniscus in 2 places in the first Pac-12 game. Used part of her hamstring to rebuild acl. Had surgery on Thursday but turned the corner, pain wise, this evening" http://instagram.com/p/BtH7Q5wgSPZB9ckKspIuFOxsKP-E5MBmdn2UU00 Here's to a speedy full recovery, a wonderful return to the court, and a favorable NCAA ruling....
