I have season tickets, so screening of home games is not an issue for me. We've played 7 games away from Gill, however, and not one of them was available on the multitude of channels I get via Comcast. Since I'm older and without a teenager in the house to guide me through the electronic maze, I greatly appreciate those of you who post these links that I am sometimes able to make work for me. On the other hand, I am most unappreciative of the Athletic Department and Larry Scott and his minions, who make it so spectacularly difficult for me to watch my favorite team while they're on the road. Totally agree, bvrbooster - Larry Scott has not helped the Pac-12. Just need to offer an "all you can eat" online and/or app based streaming package (or team by team), and bypass all of this satellite TV negotiation he mired the Pac-12 in. Or he could have had Comcast/Dish carry ALL of the regional Pac-12 channels (though maybe they don't want to, and instead wanted to give me all sorts of other crap channels I don't need). You can avoid most all of the need for a teenage consultant by buying a Roku box for ~30 bucks and three months of Sling with the Sports add on (I sign up in November and buy a discounted multi-month package just long enough for hoops season). Then if you can manage HDMI cable to the TV (or composite if your TV is old school, with the right Roku box) and USB power in, you at least get ALL of the regional Pac-12 channels using the Sling app on Roku. Same approach if you are an Amazon Prime person and buy a Fire TV box. Pac-12 Los Angeles had both the USC and UCLA games on live, and that right there made the expenditure worth it for me. Go Beavers! Thanks for the good suggestions from you and others here. I'm pretty much a nearly device/PC/internet illiterate older guy, so the help is appreciated. Heck, i couldn't even get my PC to TV HDMI cable connection to work without several searches using google and further trial and error with my PC that runs on way behind the curve Windows 7 (of course).

Glad the University added the game for live streaming since the Pac-12 network whimped out. Now I hope OSU does a better job synchronizing and sustaining Ron Callan's play by play broadcast. It was awful for the Washington game. IIRC (and I'm not positive) but I think the last time I watched the WBB stream they did not show 2 replays of the last Beaver basket...thus cutting back to the action as either Beavers make a steal....or opponent shot is going off the rim That is real progress

Everything you said illustrates why I do need a teenage consultant, because you might as well have been speaking in the Navajo language. I didn't understand a thing you said in the second paragraph - but I do appreciate your taking the time to say it. Thanks.

The Pac12 app streaming allows you to watch TV games with your device, assuming you are a customer who has access to the Pac12 Network. Hence the "Sign In" request - you enter your Comcrap or whatever provider credentials to access your channel. The non-TV streams do not require the app; you see them on the Pac-12 streaming page using your web browser. Friday's game will be streamed on the web to anyone who wants to watch. One can argue this is better for the team's exposure because the web footprint is far bigger than the Pac12 footprint. So you can have Sling TV and still watch streamed non-TV games without signing in. I guess that clears it up! Thanks! I looked at the Pac-12 website and they have this in their FAQ: "Sling TV offers all six Pac-12 Networks regional channels, giving its subscribers the ability to watch all six Pac-12 Networks regional channels via any device that Sling TV supports. Details from Sling TV can be found here at Sling.com. Sling TV does not currently offer subscribers the ability to log in and watch Pac-12 Networks content via the Pac-12 Now app or Pac-12.com." So it looks like us Sling users are 2nd class citizens. However, when the game is livestreamed thru the OSU website you don't need to sign into the Pac-12 website. We have watched all of the livestream games without logging in. I believe it's only when the game is on Pac-12 networks that you need to sign in.

If you are talking about watching Pac 12 on your phone I think you are right about not able to use Sling to access it. But IMO the Sling TV app is superior to the cable channels where subscribers cry about games are not showing up on the site. I can watch any sub channel on Pac 12 at any time including some "classic" games and games from earlier in the week. You use the Sling app & not the Pac 12 app The games that are streamed will not show up on Sling. For that use the web browser.

I have no problem watching all 6 pac 12 offerings on sling with fire tv. For 5 more bucks you can get a DVR on the cloud to record the games and watch the replays with out the cuts for time sake.
