I read on another site that Thropay had surgery this morning for a broken finger and torn ligament suffered last game. Can anyone confirm this? Is there a word on a possible return?

I noticed that she hurt her hand last week, might have been stepped on during a scramble. If she is out that is not good news.
Anyone know if a red shirt is possible, seems like she might have played in to many games already.

12 is likely too many games to redshirt.

That is what I was thinking. Here is hoping she heals fast and completely. We are going to miss her while she is out, that makes the 5 even harder to fill.

Heard the same thing from my wife this morning but she could have visited the same website that you visited. She got her info from Facebook (Vicki's site).

It's that damned "13" jersey she wears. For such a physical specimen, she's had just too much bad luck with injuries.

It did appear like JT's hand got stepped on during the last game. She was in pain, and she briefly left the bench and appeared to head to the locker room. I spotted her a moment later behind the bench, and she had a bag of ice on her hand. I think you can see the ice bag in one of the highlight videos when the players are huddling/high fiving at the end of the game.....
I was hoping then it wasn't too serious. Ugh. JT has certainly had an injury-plagued career!
(I also noticed AA in a walking boot last game, but that has less impact on the present day roster.....)
Go Beavers!

Very tough break. Injuries are part of the long season for most teams (just ask tsdtr men’s squad). Patricia Morris may be slated for a hurry-up increased role in the rotation, just as PAC 12 season begins. If so, it will be fascinating to watch.

Never the way you want to see a player get more playing time, but it happens a lot and the substitute(s) have to learn fast under fire.

We may see Taya play a bit down low with KtMac covering the 4. 5 serious three point threats on the floor at the same time could be exciting. But I'd rather see Janessa get back as quickly as possible.
KBF, and the rest of the staff, will be working overtime getting Trish ready. Here is hoping Trish is a fast learner.

They good news would be that a hand injury requires less down time than one on a leg. Player can still exercise and stay in shape and basically use everything except the injured finger. I am also assuming the torn ligament would be on a finger.

I saw when JT got stepped on and it was during a scrum on the floor for loose ball. She will be missed greatly, hope it's not season ending.
On another note, what about KAT?

I am also assuming the torn ligament would be on a finger. Plus it was her non-shooting (left) hand which helps. As far as 411500 or anyone else that wants to join Vicki's Facebook group (OSU Women's Hoop Scoop) all I know to do is go to the group page and look for a place that says "Join". I can't see one but that is because I am already a member so good luck with that. Hey, if they let me in they probably will let anyone in.......lol. www.facebook.com/groups/44764709092/
