Yes, kind of disappointing....hope she doesn't pick Oregon of course...then I hope she does not pick (in order of disapproval): Baylor, Stanford, Notre Dame, UCONN, Louisville, South Carolina, UCLA, and ASU. Not sure why Oregon State did not make the cut, but her top 9 includes 7 of the top 10 teams in the country, with Ucla and ASU being the outliers. They probably are the only 2 on her list with the least amount of buzz as far as winning a National Championship within the next 2-6 years. I don't like the idea of her being at ASU or UCLA either, but I still find them less objectionable than any of the others which are really loaded/loading up on top players. Damn, it didn't work. We're still on page 7.

Sounds like McCabe is headed to Iowa per a good source on the Iowa board. Very good addition for Iowa — she shoots it very well. With McCabe off the board, Hansford, Braun, and Wenzel seem to be the most likely candidates to join the 2022 class. McCabe made it official today, headed to Iowa.

While things are a bit quiet, there are a couple interesting 2022 names showing up on the Beavers social media the last couple days.
Alyssa Crockett, 6'2" wing from Westfield High School in Indiana just started being followed on twitter by BH, and in return she started following BH, Oregon State WBB, and SR. One of the interesting things about this is that even though it doesn't look like any of the other coaches were following her on twitter, Alyssa had previously been following both KF and EE. She has a ton of offers (Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan St, Marquette, Lousiville, Colorado, and Arizona State to name a few), and may be best know for her ability to pass. Reportedly, her 3pt shooting ability is quickly growing as well. Although I didn't check on whether any of the top services are ranking her, I did see that Prep Hoops has her at #62 in the 2022 class.
Lilly Meister 6"2" PW from Minnesota and KF just recently started following each other as well. Lilly is top 60 on Prep hoops. She also has offers from big weights such as Lousiville. Lilly is more known for her inside game, and holds the Minnesota record for most blocks in a game, by blocking 16 shots one game last year as a sophomore.
The parents of both these girls played college basketball, so they've got some good roots.
Both of these players are probably long shots to become Beavs, even if they were offered, but there isn't a lot else to talk about right now, and there are decent chances one, or both of these girls end up in the Pac-12. Just two more to keep our eyes on.

Grace Vanslooten is one of my favorite 2022 recruits for exactly those reasons mentioned above "all around all purpose player" who "gets it done from everywhere". I was a little disheartened that it didn't look like there was a lot of interaction among the Beavs and her the last few months. It's so hard to tell these things, especially with recruits before they get to that September 1st date of their junior season. The good news is that Katie and Grace have begun following each other on twitter, and that Katie and Grace's dad follow each other as well. You can tell that the VanSlooten's are a bit interested in Oregon State because in the last two days Grace's dad has begun following Scott Rueck, Oregon State University, and Oregon State Hoops on twitter. Grace and BH and JC have been following each other for a while, but it's good to see things seem to be heating up a bit. I might add, Grace has received offers from Stanford, and Duke, among her 50ish offers, so this is no cakewalk to land her. She's an excellent player and obviously very bright. Go Beavs! This article from July sheds some insight into Grace and her recruitment. 247sports.com/college/mississippi-state/Article/Class-of-2022-Grace-VanSlotten-149165336/

Mississippi State might have an uphill battle recruiting her since they spelled her name incorrectly in the link, and again on the page containing the article.

The only confirmed 2022 offer currently out is for Lily Hansford, the 6-2 sharpshooter from Wisconsin. It is likely safe to assume that Timea Gardiner and Raegan Beers hold offers, and likely Lauren Betts also held one before cutting OSU. There is also a strong possibility Mara Braun has one, and maybe even Carleigh Wenzel.
Compare this to Oregon, who has at least seven confirmed offers (Basham, Isai, Vanslooten, Nnaji, Chance Gray, Ayanna Patterson, Tonie Morgan), plus likely offers to Gardiner and Betts, and possibly Braun (as well as five confirmed 2023 offers), and OSU's approach appears very conservative. I would expect a Vanslooten offer in the near future though.
