I hope a coach or two will be in Thailand soon, as Caitlin Clark and Hailey Van Lith will both be playing in the U19 World Championships.

Travel day for Coach Katie. We’ll know where she’s landing soon I’m guessing.

With the number of coaches from the US that say they will be there they should all get together and charter a small plane, LOL! It really is no secret that at least a half a dozen to dozen will be there.
Kind of silly thinking of all these coaches sitting in the stands when you really think about it. They all sit in the stands and watch but they don't get one on one time or really get any meaningful contact. They are just there because the next guy is so they have to be.
This is where I think recruiting gets out of hand and sort of silly for every school. Just make events like this a dead zone for coaches and save the travel. If you can't win a recruit over in the states watching the high school games and home visits then maybe you don't want that recruit? It would be interesting to know the average dollars spent for a recruit. Airfare, hotels, etc.
What do you all think

Coach Katie appears to be in Atlanta at the Atlanta Peach Splash. She's started following a couple girls on social media that are playing there this weekend.

I agree that it is beyond silly for coaches to fly to Thailand just to be seen in the stands. Also agree that everybody would be better off if the NCAA didn't allow it.

I am comfortable in letting our coaches run their program and that includes scouting and attending tournaments as they seem fit. Complete confidence in Coach Rueck and his program.

The osu coaches like a roster of 12-13 players versus the allowed 15 by the NCAA. I'm sure a trip to Thailand or two to get a leg up doesn't cost as much as a few yearly scholarships.

A look at Sasha's performances at the Under Armour Finals in Atlanta: They finished 3-2, and placed fourth. Sasha averaged 11.0 PPG (45.8 FG%, 33.3 3FG%, 90 FT%), 4.2 RPG, and 2.4 APG

She gets some serious arc on her 3 point shots. Looks like she finishes well w/ either hand in traffic. Some nasty swats too.

Nice hair. Katie Mac level, and that's really something. Put her on the court with Trish and we'll be unbeatable.
I'm not much of a scout, but I know what I know . . .

Good comments on Sasha. Very impressive going to the basket. Quick and controlled. Is her three point release slightly slow and a little low? Of course if she is closely guarded, she has the option of making a quick move to the basket. I remember when Katie was a freshman or sophomore and she turned head quickly to the right (unintentionally?) and whacked the defender right in the face with her hair.
