#24 California vs. Penn State - Cal won 75-58 behind a late third quarter rally before which they were trailing. Anigwe led with 24pts 22reb. She looks to be back in freshman form.
Washington State vs. St. Mary’s - WSU lost 70-64, their second loss (both to mid major teams). I believe they had a few transfer out this season. St. Mary’s will be a nice tuneup before Vancouver. First real test I’d imagine.
#21 Duke vs. Northwestern - Duke lost 84-58 in a big surprise. Duke’s 2015 #1 class is all seniors...not off to a great start. Have had tough times with transfers and injuries, but they likely won’t be ranked by the time they visit Corvallis.
#7 Stanford vs. Idaho - Stanford winning 56-33 at half.
UCLA vs. Rice - UCLA winning 30-24 at half. Could be a long season for them. Drummer got a few minutes but still no Horvat.
Southern Cal vs. Long Beach State. USC winning 51-22 at half. They could open some eyes in the Pac-12 this season. Granted this isn’t good competition.
Washington vs. North Arizona - UW on top 29-21 at half. Also may be a long season for them.
#23 Arizona State vs. #4 Baylor - tips off at 7:30 on ESPN 2.

Thanks for the score updates.....The Duke score caught me by surprise.....
The ASU-Baylor game begins at 4:30 Pacific time....I'm intrigued to see how well Jacket Toss utilizes Brown & Cox - two of the very best bigs in the country. And on the same team!! Bigs, however, are only as good (on offence) as their guards allow them to be.. So, at this early juncture in the season, Baylor may not tear up a pressure team like ASU, which is veteran laden and also plays pretty darn good perimeter defense....

At least once on this page it has been stated that there are similarities between Turner-Thorne and Mulkey. Will be fun to watch these two go against each other. A couple jacket-tosses I hope.
Really cool setting for the game! Makes me think back to an Native-American/Oregon great Shoni Schimmel. Too bad we weren’t the most relevant program when she was coming out of HS.
Wouldn’t it be great to watch Mulkey toss that jacket...

Arkansas Pine Bluff (next up) is 0-1. On 11/7 they were down 4-24 after the 1st Quarter v. (unranked) Wichita State a few days ago.
Their tallest starting player is 6'0". Their (tallest player) an off-the-bench "5" is 6'-3". Doesn't seem like it will be a good test....but may give Jo and Janessa a chance to get some good minutes in.

I think both Cal and ASU are going to be very tough to beat this season. If I not mistaken, the Beavs only play Cal once this season.....at Cal. I definitely wouldn't put that one in the win column yet. I don't think USC will be a push over either.

Arizona State looks dangerous, but guard heavy so I like our matchup. Quite honestly, could we go Slocum, Pivec, Tudor, McWilliams, and Corosdale vs. them?
I think we recruited #0 for ASU, freshman Taya Hanson. Her shots aren’t falling but she is a player.

Final Baylor 65 ASU 59 Reminds me of OSU’s game last year against Notre Dame. ASU’s 3point shooting cooled down. Baylor’s inside game heated up.

Slocum just may be what is able to help win us some of these games. ASU has good guards, but I didn’t see a Destiny Slocum out there. Sure, we haven’t played against a Bayloresque team yet, but she did it her freshman year too. Her ability to penetrate and hit the shooters is terrific.

Wow... Loyola Marymount takes down their second Pac-12 opponent of the year, Arizona. More impressively they did so without their best player.

They won on the road at Arizona. Neither Arizona or UCLA may be great teams this year, but it's still two impressive wins for Loyola Marymount.

I agree. Aarion McDonald, Arizona’s UW transfer had 39 of 64 points, making 20/23 FT. I remember being impressed with her when they had Plum and Osahor.

Ionescu single-handedly carrying the *ucks past St. Mary’s. 36-26 at half, Ionescu shooting 7-10 while the rest of the starters are 4-17.
