I don't follow all this with anywhere near the dedication you guys do, and confess that I don't seek out quotes from 16 or 17 year old Hailey Van Lith or try to peer into her teenage mind. Nevertheless, I think we have an excellent chance to someday see her tossing little orange balls into the stands at Gill. Why?
It is 2,914 miles from Wenatchee, Washington to Storrs, Connecticut - 45 hours driving time. As commitment day draws closer, that realization is bound to dawn on her. No chance to sneak home to family and friends for a long weekend, no chance for them to come to your games. I just generally think that means a lot to a young girl in the recruiting process.
Second, Geno is 64 years old. I have no idea how long he plans to do this, but he'll be 66 when she arrives on campus, 70 when she graduates. Connecticut has long enjoyed the aura of invincibility, just as UCLA did in the Wooden years. but that is starting to fade somewhat. They haven't won a national championship since Van Lith was in 8th grade.
Finally, her other finalist (us) ain't exactly chopped liver. We don't quite have the pedigree of a Connecticut (yet), but we're a top tier program, with a superb coaching staff in an outstanding conference. Perhaps it will occur to both Ms Van Lith and Ms Brink that they have just as good a chance to go to the Final Four here as they do anywhere.

The WBBBlog.com accessible in the link below lists the official visits for many of the top Class of 2019 female players. The dates for Kennedy's four official visits are noted in the link below: Oklahoma (September 7), Oregon (September 21), UCLA (October 12), and Oregon State (October 19). The Beavs will be hosting Cal in football on October 20. It would be nice if the Beavs can put on a competitive show against Cal because we can count on Kennedy and her family being at that game for a least a part of their weekend stay. The OSU coaches will also likely try to have other Class of 2019 recruits present that same weekend along with the Brown family if all goes as is usually planned. wbbblog.com/2018/04/14/2019-class-finalists/

We know they (OSU FB) are NOT competitive . What matters is how well she relates to Rueck and potential WBB teammates. Losing programs like FB should not be counted on to assist winning programs like Baseball or WBB.

I wonder if Jasmin Shelley plans to be on campus at this time.... I have been trying to track down info on Jasmin's season but I'm not even sure when the H.S. season is played in Australia....
I have not stumbled across any meaningful info on OSU recruiting in the past few weeks, so I'm pretty much in the dark... I kinda thought we might get some hints about the prospects in Europe that Coach Baker was reportedly pursuing in July/August.. Leaking information does not seem to be part of the deal with OSU WBB...
I guess that makes sense considering the Program has not even announced the Thanksgiving Vancouver tourney that Notre Dame, South Carolina, WKU and others announced in August....🏀😎
GO BEAVS !!

So is it a good sign being the final visit for Brown? I'd like to think she saved the best for last..
Now a ranked pg or wing would really be nice.

I do like the fact that we get the opportunity to make the last impression on Kennedy. Hopefully Jaz Shelley does come along to join her. There has been absolutely nothing on her recruiting that I have been able to locate. May end up being a recruiting process like Chantel Horvat (Aussie who had the Beavs in her final 4 but chose UCLA with no visits). They would a nice duo two round out 2019 class
