Blacklock might have returned as a starter, averaging 15/6, leading her league in 3pt %age for the second time in three years...
The crowds, and fans, who roared with her with every trey she sank, would have adored her as a loyal goddess.

The crowds, and fans, who roared with her with every trey she sank, would have adored her as a loyal goddess. To be quite honest, I think SR's utilization patterns (or lack thereof) for both Blacklock and Martha had me thinking (all season long) they were both high-risk for transferring out. In the "coulda, woulda, shoulda" department, knowing what we know now, maybe SR could have 'pandered' to them a bit more. I don't begrudge at all both of them seeking more steady PT somewhere, anywhere. And Blacklock has a good chance of making a Kolbie/Dom leap next season in the right circumstance. I also lived in fear of the same with Dom and Lily early in the season where their potential was obvious while their utilization was not, but by the end of the season was clear they were in the rotation, and firmly penciled in to be in the rotation next season. Those two, along with TG, Dom and RB, are at the heart of this tragic story for me. Disclaimer - I don't know what SR's plan was (which obviously led to great team success), what he was communicating, I haven't coached a second of hoops in my life, and I definitely didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Go Beavers!
