I actually went to a seminar (or maybe it was just a "talk") given by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross around 1976 I think. It was held on campus at Willamette University here in Salem. It seemed to change my thoughts on dying for sure.....kind of a calming effect that still lingers with me today. I think I am in the acceptance stage now.

If States struggling with budget shortfalls do GAF and view “donations” to their University professional sports teams as non-deductible, would that level the playing field? Further, I wonder how many “student athletes” have been through an IRS audit! When you move to “acceptance, the mind can go to many places!

I've seen Scott wandering around town post mass exodus and he's looked like he was bouncing from anger to depression (mild both). I saw him today and he seems totally into acceptance. Went from one phone call to the next and totally into whoever he was talking to. Maybe the banquet allowed him to cut the ties and move on.

He'll do what needs to be done to get it done. We will have a winning record next season.
