Ruffled feathers or not, I think if (BIG "IF") Rueck feels anywhere near retirement, make sure Aleah is happy as she would be my choice for "coach in waiting". If Scott feels he still wants to do this for awhile, it's not so crucial, but I'd still keep Goodman happy as she appears to be an excellent recruiter. Having an opinion, or emotionally investing in any of this, gets harder every time I read "Beaver Family", "God's plan" or similar crap in the transfer announcements. So hiring our most inexperienced coach as the next coach is your plan? Lol

Notion, Scott 14 years at Fox, 14 years here, might be a few season away from name on building or statue. His legacy big now and getting bigger. Just wondering.

Having a true appreciation of a charismatic, and effective, assistant former Beaver WBB player, who has completed their first season as a true assistant coach - and anointing them as an heir apparent OSU Head Coach, anytime in the near future, are in two drastically different scenarios. Aleah is wonderful. Hopefully the Beavers will keep her 'happy' in whatever role she performs. Is Aleah D-1 Head Coach material? Probably someday. Is she Head Coaching material at a a major program - even at one that recently was 'demoted' to WCC) like OSU)?...Not until she has many more years of experience, including head coach somewhere such as Cal Baptist or Seattle U or Cal Poly....but OSU? nope.
