Just saw some dam analytics stuff. Holmes had a 82 mph 3000+ spin rate K last night. Also had a 93 mph 200+ spin rate K. That's some good stuff.

Kmatz going to have an interesting off season. If he keeps this up I think he could be a top 10 round pick. On the other side is he can stay and play with his buddy May and his brother Zach.

Pretty sure May is draft eligible this year… Correct Only way I see him coming back next year is if he doesn’t get the money he wants. Wouldn’t be crazy for an arm to come back for senior year and see if he can make some more money. |

Building on that and I know I’m looking way too far ahead but that pitching staff is really good on paper next year if either May or Kmatz is back (or both). May, Kamtz, Segura, Palmer, Keljo, Talavs, Morell, Oakes, Hutcheson, Decremer, Montgomery. Does Holmes come back? Then add in some of those highly ranked 2024 arms. Could be really good.

Okay but...if May can stay healthy and we can use bottom of the BP guys for weekday games (maybe use Lawson as the experienced hand?) that would allow Hunter to be a reliever like today. That would be absolutely huge.
