Interesting. Over twenty years career, I went to a bunch of WCC games at PSU. WCC Teams appeared smaller, quicker, than PAC/8/10/12 teams. University of Portland was like the prototype WCC. My thought is our current five will thrive next season.

My thought is our current five will thrive next season. The current roster is a solid defensive unit for sure, but we definitely need to find some more offense. If Dom changed her mind, she’d immediately be the go-to offensive option on the roster, and probably in the conference given her trajectory.

To be blunt, I am skeptical of the quality of transfers we are going to be able to recruit given our current situation. We need to get enough players to fill out the roster to run a practice and field a hopefully somewhat competitive team. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.... Schools like OSU and WSU were able to pick up overlooked talent (or folks that didn't want to go to a huge school in an urban area) that wanted to play in the highest echelons of competition (i.e. Pac-12), and then ideally "coach them up" and produce teams that "punched above their weight"......and also create a desirable culture that would that provide a flywheel effect and pull in top talent - SR did this with OSU, leading to well recognized talent to join the team and producing commensurate results (Final 4, Elite 8s). NIL and conference relegation has altered this value proposition, and OSU/WSU will have to either retool their value prop for the WCC or develop a new one. But (at least in the short term) there is a class of talent that I wonder whether OSU will hold the same allure for with the conference change/uncertainty. The wholesale departures by the "brand names" and faces of our program will only amplify this uncertainty in the short term. Producing a Gonzaga-like narrative with the team next year would help, or some major shift in the landscape two years from now might help, but I suspect the high cards are held by the "haves" right about now. Interesting times. Go Beavers!

Here are Ferreira's stats at Baylor last season. Minutes: 5.1 PTS 1.2 REB 1.1 AST 0.3 FG% 50.0 To be blunt, I am skeptical of the quality of transfers we are going to be able to recruit given our current situation. We need to get enough players to fill out the roster to run a practice and field a hopefully somewhat competitive team. We should obviously expect a substantial down tick in the level of athlete we will get to come to Corvallis. The Pac 12 was the deepest conference in the country.

TVO to USC. So she goes on her big tour and then picks USC in the end anyway. She might find that she'll be sitting on the bench if she has those stretches of cold shooting or sloppy turnovers. It could be a little bit of a shock to her in general when she realizes that she's not the focal point of the fanbase anymore.

Von Oehlhoffen just committed to USC. I hope Colorado, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Louisville enjoyed paying her to take a free vacation.

Too bad such a team oriented leader has made herself appear to be nothing more than a Diva now. Oh well.....moving on....

Von Oehlhoffen just committed to USC. Didn't they just get Iriafen too? TVO may be on the outside looking in for minutes. Time will tell. She is in a Power4 conference and at a school with the current bf.

Talia will be the second or third choice on offense. If Kiki I. commits from Stanford USC will be loaded but Talia will be an after thought on offense and she still has some liabilities on defense. But good luck to her if it was the level of competition why she left so certainly got her wish. But is she up to the task? She will need to stop the sloppy play and turnovers or her spot will be on the pines watching the action.

TvO makes SC instantly better. The addition of Kiki and TvO to the USC squad makes SC a top 3 team next season.
