Jon is trying, it is obvious that baseball is not his sport. This is correct. Jon doesn't know baseball well enough to be calling the pbp on radio. It's been 3 years, and it's SO obvious that baseball is not his sport that the powers that be ought to relieve him of that duty and replace him with someone who won't confuse everyone who is trying to follow the game on the radio. I appreciate the effort, but it isn't working.

Sunday pitching - I think ucla's struggles with Brandon may get Chamberlain a start. Ideally you get CC through 6-7 innings, bring in a RHP like Dylan or Tweedt to match up, then close with Mully.
Of course, not just any lefty is going to match Brandon's career-high 10k performance! Kid been rising to the occasion since bringing Aloha from 8-18 up to 9-12 then 17-10 his junior-senior years.

Right now we have four pretty solid bats.....McGarry, Crutschman, Philip and Ober.....I added Ober in the mix since he seems to have good plate appearance and has been pretty effective with the bat. If we can get a couple more of our remaining players to up their ante at the plate, this team will be formidable to contend with. I still have hope for Armstrong to come around....he played well when Madrigal was out last year so not sure why he is off to the start he has this year.

I hear you, but I actually like starting Tweedt and letting him 1+ time through rotation and then going to Christian. Force them to start more lefty hitters and give Sam one time through....

Not too many of the best are available for a part-time gig, and as long he's cheering for our team, well he's the dude.

I'm not asking for 'the best', but someone with at least the knowledge level of a HS baseball coach would be nice.

I do kind of like that when the opponent hits a jack, he sounds like someone just dumped soda on his shoes.
