Because osu had zero depth that could play a lick of basketball? And... osu was a stellar 2-4 vs weak schedule at the time of injury. Yeah... 5-27 was ALL TT's injury. Yes was more than just TT being hurt that season..Didn't OSU have Duvivier leave and Bruce transer before season started?.. either one of them could have helped with depth Duvivier would have meant more wins than Tres at that point in my opinion, the two of them there and the team probably would have been around the .500 mark. The biggest issue with the team was no senior leadership left over from Robinson's final 2 recruiting years for whatever reason.

To be sure, it is undeniable that losing GPII, Langston Morris Walker, Olaf, Reid and even Goomis in one year hurts. Add in Bruce transferring, Duvivier leaving and yes. that is a huge amount of roster turn over. Add that none of the incoming replacement players are still on our roster... (Stacey, Dew, Kone, McLaughlin). Issues, yes. 2016 was a pretty big hiccup that looms large. I maintain TT is a difference maker on the team and even agree with baseball he is probably +3-4 wins games.
