Methinks you're being too generous. I LOVE the positivity, though.

13 wins might be enough to win the regular season title, definitely top 4. With the Pac 12 the way it is there may be a lot of teams defeating each other. I can see it taking 12 to 13 wins to win the Pac 12. Here's my prediction. Just a wild guess. I am basing it is if the Beavs play to their top potential. @uo-L(51 percent sure, we got a good shot) UO-W- The Civil War in Eugene is a toss up to me with Bol out and the other injuries to the Ducks. The only reason I put the Eugene game as a likely loss is with our history on the road in Pac 12. If the first game was at Gill I would say a Beaver win which I believe we beat them at home. Plus, I don't want to jinx us in Eugene. 1-1 @asu- L We just never seem to play well down there. ASU- W We take them out of there game at Gill. 2-2 @ua- Very close L. Another place we don't do well at. UA- W. Gill is very good to us. 3-3 @wsu W WSU W- Should sweep the Cougs. Could see one or Both games of the games close. 5-3 @uw W UW W. We break through on the road with a big win in Seattle where We are clicking on the road. We played well against UW's zone. 2 very close games. 7-3 @ucla W UCLA W. Lots of trouble down in Westwood. Alford is definitely feeling the heat. Two close games though. 9-3 @usc W USC W- USC has potential, but I think our Defense slows them down. 11-3 STAN W CAL W- Sweep Bay Area schools at home. 13-3 @utah W @ Col L Colorado is a tough place yo play. 14-4 My prediction may be a little too optimistic, and I may get ripped on this by the board, but I don't care what people think. I think this team has tons of potential. With Kelly and G back, we play good Defense that I feel can get better, which in turn will help the Offense. Especially if we get Hollins going, and consistency out of Stevie. However, I could also see us winning as low as 6 or 7, If we play laxadasical or turn the ball over in bunches. Last year was frustrating because of so many close losses took away from a potential NIT or NCAA birth. Like those Mike Riley teams from 06-09, I see this team getting stronger throughout the year in conference play after some frustrating Non Conference losses.

L @oregon W USC W UCLA L @asu L @ua W WSU W UW L @col W @utah W Stanford W Cal W Oregon W @ucla W @usc W UA W ASU L @uw W @wsu If this team wins that many conference games I think you are drastically underselling what the attendance numbers will be. If we only draw 4,800 for a 13-5 conference team that says more about the poor state of Beaver Nation as a fan base than it does about the state of the MBB program.
As far as the W/L prediction goes, this is VERY possible. As frustrating as we have been to watch so far, the PAC is simply not good. There are 5 teams (SC, Utah, Cal, Stanford, WSU) that we "SHOULD" sweep, and then I do not think there is another team that is clearly better than any other in the conference. I agree that an 8 game win streak is generous, but against all those teams listed is very possible.
I am personally thinking 10-8 or 11-7 is probably what we will see with a W in the tourney to get us to 19 or 20 wins and probably an NIT bid. The ASU, @ucla, and @usc games would be the two or three most likely to go the other way IMHO, but the @uo/@col/@ua games could all flip in a good way too. Would love to see this prediction come true, the PAC is down and this is the year to take advantage and get a bye in the conference tournament and try to make some noise in Vegas.

I agree that if we had a winning conference record, which we haven't had since 1990(!) I think Gill would have great attendance, at least anything above 7000 with a few sellouts. Also, we did sell out our NIT game in 2005, which makes me believe that a winning Pac 12 season will bring in huge crowds.
I agree with you guys the Pac 12 is down. I also think that with it being down, everyone will beat each other up that it may be a cluster on top. The Beavers defense will give them a chance against anyone in the conference which makes a Pac 12 title possible. Than again, most Pac 12 teams have a shot since no one besides maybe ASU (impressive win against Kansas) or even UW at times has looked like the Alpha Dog this season ( No pun intended). It should be an interesting year in Pac 12. It's wide open.

I'll say 7-11 in conference and 15-15 overall. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm going with an optimistic 10-8 and and NIT bid. It's the needed recipe for me to avoid apathy.
I love the 13-5 and potential Dance prediction, and would be stoked to even be in the bid conversation at season's end.

9-9, 17-13 overall. NIT bid. 9-9, 17-13 gets us squat unless the CBI comes calling. If Oregon State goes 9-9, 17-13, the Beavers should be on pace to get an NIT bid. Oregon State would probably have to win at least one in the Pac-12 tournament. South of there is iffy. Stanford earned an NIT bid as a three seed at 18-15. 1-1 in the Pac-12 Tournament would put Oregon State at 18-14. Arizona State went dancing last year with a sub-.500 Pac-12 record. They should not have, but it did happen.

Don't be surprised if the conference regular season champion has 4 losses. I my opinion at this time, it may change, there isn't a dominate team going into the conference season. With the inconsistent play shown by the Beavers I predict a record of 10-8 in conference. This team is capable of anything if they get on a major run. Record will be better if they somehow find a way to put in consistent effort for 40 minutes.
