When Kelley finally gets into the offensive cycle of things I think we'll start seeing double figures in points out of him as people get used to running the offense through him.

What the hell is wrong with you guys! I just finished watching the game and totally enjoyed/liked what I saw. Did I hear correctly...best start since ‘80-‘81?
Anyway. I knew that the game could not have been as “good” as it left me thinking it was...soooooo...I came to Bennyshouse to get my dose of reality. You all know what I mean, just looking for the resident experts that only espouse facts and make sure we fans see all of the Beavs’ warts. Anyway, I’m totally disappointed in this board. I’m not diappointed in this team’s effort to this point. We may be able to make a run at the postseason...the GOOD one.

The anomaly of a team with good 3 pt shooters shooting 29% has been flushed down the toilet by another anomaly of a team where everybody makes 3s out their ass.

If I'm not mistaken we started 6-1 in WT's second year ('15-16) before losing at Kansas?
A bit skeptical on the 3pt D... we make a school record, but only 3 or 4 more than a team that might win 2 Pac12 games. And, this Bear team gave up 17 threes vs Air Force
Hope the Campbell kid hangs tough. Love how he moves, reminds me of a young, lefty Dino Tanner type in the making. Vernon looked smooth too.
On a side note... Furd looks to be under the radar. They are 4-4... losses @#7 NC, vs #25 Wisky, in OT @ #2 Kansas.

Well, in honesty these games don't really matter if OSU is 8-10 or worse in Pac12 play. So it's hard to see what this team really is. Tonight for instance: - there was more of an offensive flow... 1st game all year it wasn't 5 min here or there. - we did hit 3s, but vs a team who gives them up in bunches... 17 vs Air Force. This team isn't 29% from three, but they also aren't 60+%. - one nonscoring big isn't going to cut it in Pac12 play... especially since any shot blocker type OSU has seems to suddenly be foul prone in league play. - because there was movement there were more assist opportunities - and we'll not play a team as bad as LBSt, certainly not Mizz St in Pac12 play. So, for me, and many others the programs demise hasn't lowered our expectations. To think every W is incredibly meaningful, let alone portends to positives in Pac12 play is not how some view things. Yet, were are supposed to think like everyone else. 6-1 is where this team should be with this schedule. They best finish up getting stronger over the last 5 as ucks, USC, UCLA, Zona, ASU are all a large leap above these teams.

Just needs some confidence and PT.

Best half I've seen by Beavs in a long time. Missed the first few minutes, so not entirely sure if offense was fueling the D or vice versa. Always easy to look good when 3s are falling, but great ball movement. And D was very good, and not just the blocks. Just very active and recognition. Few lapses on D allowing interior baskets and some sloppy passing at times -- but that's just nitpicking. Great job Beavs. First time I've said this in a long time but I think Ralph would be proud of the way they are running the back door play and hitting the Baseline in the second half. Right ?..... nearly had to do double take on a couple of those possessions.... offense was working pretty well against Missouri St.

Two things I liked about that game:
1) it was boring like it should be when a Power 5 team stomps a lower level team. 2) Only one starter, E THomp, got over 30 minutes. It was good to see some bench play when we had the opportunity.
Would like to better minutes from the bench, but it still wasn't bad.

Probably the last game where bench players see significant minutes. The rest of the schedule leading up to Pac-12 play is going to require the top 5 to get at least 30 minutes a game together as a unit.

Next two for sure, but those last three at home should offer some opportunities for them still I would hope. I liked what I saw out of the bench Saturday.
